Normal Black Granite
Like a piece of ancient mosaic art black beauty granite tiles exquisitely blend hues of black and gray with hints of rust and white.
Normal black granite. The specimen above is a typical granite. Epoxy s sheen is a little different than granite and it just isn t possible to match the pattern of the granite. Not sure what material that backsplash is but i like it a lot. The grain size is coarse enough to allow recognition of the major minerals.
Size of granite slabs. Numerous other minerals can be present in granite. At the quarries granite is extracted and separated into large blocks. With normal use and proper care they re impervious to heat and staining.
While epoxy makes the surface flat and even again it doesn t look exactly like the granite it is replacing. Granite does not simply come out of the earth in the form of a slab. Multiple slabs that are similar will be grouped together as many jobs. A low grade granite slab is a thinner cut usually about 3 8 inch it usually requires a piece of plywood backing for more strength.
Black beauty granite. This low grade granite is usually imported from china and sold through granite liquidators big box stores or cut into tile. Granite has been extensively used as a dimension stone and as flooring tiles in public and commercial buildings and monuments. These blocks are then cut into thin sheets called slabs.

These might not be high a high end granite but they sure are pretty. It is about two inches across.
